4 Days Luxury Tanzania Northern Circuit Safari
This is a good option for travelers who don't have the time for our recommended full 5-day safari. On this trip, we take in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. Uniquely, it includes the option to visit the Bushman tribe at Lake Eyasi for days 3 and 4. All our safaris are offered as private trips, starting on any day.
Detailed Itinerary
Drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara, with lunch en route. Afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.
Lake Manyara is a highly scenic park, rimmed on one side by the tall cliffs of the Rift Escarpment, and ringed with a variety of habitats. Game includes hippos, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, impala, dwarf mongooses, hyraxes, wildebeest, zebra, and on rare occasions, tree-climbing lions and leopards.

Drive 30–60 minutes to Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive inside the crater.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest caldera, measuring nearly 2,000 feet in depth while covering 250 square kilometers. The Crater contains an abundance of wildlife with over 20,000 large animals including Tanzania's remaining black rhinos. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is unique in that it allows over 40,000 Maasai pastoralists with their cattle, goats and sheep to live alongside the abundant wildlife.

Full day game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. The park also hosts lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and a spectacular diversity of bird life.
Optional afternoon visit to a Maasai village to experience traditional culture and hospitality.

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Arrive in time for afternoon/evening flights. Tour ends on arrival in Arusha.
